What is FOM?
FOM, or Farlander Optimized Mod, is a collection of mods developed by Figonometry which add a variety of small features and bug fixes for old versions to streamline the experience of walking to the Farlands without altering gameplay. Some versions of Minecraft require bug fixes in order to reach the Farlands at all, notably anything from Infdev 618 through Beta 1.1. FOM also allows for expansion of the world boundary to make journeys to the Fartherlands possible.
